From A to Z and back again! - Travel around London and the UK

Since the UK is such a small and user-friendly country (compared to Australia) travel is relatively easy.
Getting from one end of the country to the other can be done in a day if need be and pretty cheaply if tickets are purchased in advance.
The methods of transport are numerous and often offer special deals, ranging from Train, Bus, Ferry, Airplane and Car rental. The London Underground is an amazing service reaching most corners of Greater London – usually well into Zone 6. The Oyster card keeps everything compact and avoids paper tickets which is a blessing. If you find yourself out past midnight in London then Black Cabs, Minicabs and Night Buses are other options available.

For those with Smartphones googling addresses has never been easier – those without should invest in an A-Z street directory upon arrival.
