Protocol Education: Bigger Agency but Still Authentic

A glowing reccomendation from one of our wonderful supply teachers, Heather....

When I was asked to interview for Protocol Education I didn’t really know what to expect. I’d been through an agency before. They had found me by chance after a meeting at a career expo back when I was completing my Bachelors of Education. What I didn’t know was how different these agencies seemed to work.

My first agency initially just dealt with me through the VISA process and job application stages. Then that was the last that I heard from them as I took the 13 hour flight to South Korea and worked my way through the culture change and a year of inclined growth.

Since Protocol Education is a little bigger, I thought I might be lost in the crowd of newly qualified teachers that seek positions in the U.K. for similar reasons as me – travel, and experiencing life abroad. What I really admire about Protocol Education however, is the dynamic and interesting extra-curricular activities which are offered. Not only are there musicals to attend with discounted tickets (the more the merrier – group rates), but cruises down the Thames and many more events involving Pub Quizes, etc. The list goes on!

One thing that I find incredible with Protocol Education, is the way that they adhere to each individual’s unique needs. Agents know your name, and a bit about your background and experiences when putting you forward for a booking. Furthermore, the staff working in the office in administrative roles are also granted freedoms to work in ways that they are passionate about.

Protocol Education is definitely a company and agency that works with you as you settle into life in the UK. As someone who’s made several transitions each time I relocate to another part of the world, I can say that Protocol Education are the genuine article and made the shift a lot smoother than I initially thought it would be.
