Interview with a Supply Teacher - Lynn

We are celebrating National Supply Teacher Week this week and have interviewed a few supply teachers to get their perspectives.

1. What do you love about doing supply work?

The flexibility and the opportunity to work in different schools, an opportunity to learn, grow and develop - of course it's always a challenge

2. What three bits of advice would you give other teachers and support workers who might be considering supply work?

Don't be scared, it will enhance and develop your career, it's an opportunity to experience and do things that you would not normally be able to do.

3. What do you always make sure you have with you?
Pens, board pens, coffee, a sense of humour, your ID badge, your lesson resources.

4. How do you hear about Protocol Education and what do you like about us?
I've worked with you before and with colleagues from you before - nationwide coverage, portfolio of schools that you work with - lots of opportunity.

5. Anyone you would like to thank...?
The team in the Leicester branch - they are awesome!

Thanks Lynn! We want to take the time this week to thank all our supply teachers and support workers. For more on what is going on during National Supply Teacher Week keep and eye on our Facebook and Twitter.
