Confessions of a Short Teacher

Orianne is a Canadian teacher working through Protocol Education Bristol branch. She shares some extra issues she has the classroom, as I'm sure other Protocol Teachers have had happen.

Confessions of a Short Teacher

  • Can you please stop standing in front of me to ask pointless questions, because I can’t see the rest of the class.
  • Too bad none of us can reach the date to fix it.
  • Too bad I can’t reach the release button to unlock the door and let you in from the rain.
  • No, I am not 18.
  • No, I am not too young to be a teacher.
  • Yes, if you jump you are taller than me.  That was also true the first six times you jumped.  Now please sit down!
  • I would move you down the behaviour chart for that if I could reach your name.
  • Can you please stop standing in front of me to ask pointless questions, because I am clapping to quiet the class but they can’t figure out where the sound is coming from.
  • Thank you for the encouragement child, but no, I am done growing.
