Where are you based and what do you do?

I am the Secondary consultant for schools in Surrey

How long have you been at Protocol Education and what do you like most about working here?

1 month – Love meeting new clients and candidates, I’m a people person.

What did you do before you worked for Protocol Education?

I was a manager at John Lewis for 5 years

What are the qualities you value most in the candidates who work for you?

A real passion for inspiring their pupils. Three E’s : Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy

What advice would you give to someone from overseas, coming over to teach in the UK?

Wrap up warm, bring your best qualities as a teacher, enjoy the UK, we’re small but great!

You’re shipwrecked on a deserted island with only three other Protocol Education employees for company. Who do you choose and why?

  • Anna , because she introduced me.
  • Pat, because he’s my mentor and he’s supposed to know what to do in any situation.
  • The sandwich guy because he comes in every day with really nice food.

What are your three favourite things in the world?

My Fiancee (getting married in July), Thai food, and Holidays

If you could be any type of animal, what would you be and why?

A Bear. I would eat for 6 months then hibernate for the next.

If you could only eat one type of food for the rest of your life what type of food would that be?

Muesli – love it! But would need milk. [Ed: A muesli eating bear!?]
